Taekwondo Master Instructor

Master Dicks is a 7th degree Black Belt. He has been involved in martial arts since 1962 and instructing Taekwondo for more than 35 years.

His lifelong passion for Taekwondo was sealed one day in March 1975 in Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall as he watched the Korean Taekwondo display team in action. Already a keen student of Taekwondo Master Dicks saw the combination of mental control and physical power and realized this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Since than he has been trained and graded by some of the world’s most prestigious instructors …

  • Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha (U.K.)
  • Grandmaster Han Min Kyo (Chicago – USA)
  • Grandmaster Suk Jun Kim (New York USA)
  • Master Chong Chul Rhee (Aust)
  • Master Chong Yoon Rhee (Aust)

Master Dicks has always believed in the mind’s ability to control the body, and has found the practice of martial arts enhances that belief.

He discovered that not only does training strengthen the body and mind, but that a person’s character also develops in a positive manner.
